It's MISS LYSS! The bride's ONE & ONLY sister and ace since day 1! They say when you have a sibling so close in age that you will part ways...well these 2 are the exception to the rule. Because although they may disagree, and lead different lives; they remain just as strong as ever in their bond as sisters just as their mom taught them. Her and the bride may be total opposites but one thing is for certain, 2 things for sure...Alyssa is the best person for the Maid of Honor job and she has earned it. Alexis couldn't imagine this day without her.

Shetarra is the bride's cousin. They have become extremely close in the last 4-5 years as family; with all the conversations and life lessons she's taught Alexis about marriage, love, relationships, commitment, and their shared interest in dancing and love for their children they've gained a high level of respect for one another. So Alexis deemed an important role for her to accept as Matron of Honor to be by her side every step of the way.

MRS.Chauntae! G-mom to 3 of the brides baby girls! She met the bride in high school while she was a Junior and Alexis a freshman. They became close over shared car rides, talent show dances, sleepovers, and even in college when Chauntae graduated to attend UMHB while Alexis attended UNT they remained inseparable going through life. With this 16 year friendship Alexis can't imagine having her wedding day without best friend/sister in it as this is a dream they've always talked about sharing with each other from day 1!

Meet Jennifer aka "Jen" aka Ellie's God-mom! Jennifer met Alexis at her 1st corporate america job, Allstate as a claims adjuster in the auto claims department. Alexis had such a strong feeling just by looking at Jennifer that they would click right away. And they did! With all the goal planning, sushi lunch breaks, long-winded conversations whether via text at home or IM at work these 2 have been tight for 7 years. How could she not ask her bestie to join the party!?

Alexis will never forget the day she met Miss Nygeria "Sarah" Melvin! Funny story actually...Alexis actually met her 3 years ago at her's and James place. These 2 people are Mark, the groom's, closest high school friends so they all go way back. They connected instantly over wine and playful banter. Nygeria is such a fun, lively, charismatic, loving sweet person and loves people and has always had Alexis' back. Beautiful Nygeria of course had to be asked to join the party!

Taylor “Tay” is a great friend of the brides! Although they may not have known each other very long Tay is a WHOLE VIBE!! She’s so sweet, loving, friendly, easy-going, and when it comes to a party Tay knows how to get lit lit 😍 while keeping it fabulous and classy!! It’s a party when Tay enters the room and she knows it! 🥂

Meet Alex! Alex + Alexis = Friends Forever. That’s why Alex will be Alexis' bridesmaid in the wedding. And Alexis wouldn’t have it any other way. The two met at the church at a single mother's group by being formally introduced by our mutual closest person Chauntae and they bonded right away! Alex and Alexis had more than enough in common to the point to where it was kinda scary lol. Both being single parent working girl moms of 3 girls at the time with the same taste in music and alot goin on...it was a WRAP! Alexis knew Alex was her soul sister.

Oh sweet ANGEL! Alexis loves the spirit, joy, love, and passion in this woman's heart! Always has since they met in middle school and she has not changed that part of herself at ALL! She is still strong and her and the bride have more than just being CAPRICORN SISTERS in common. They both share the love of God, music, art, and interest in personal wealth and growth both mentally, emotionally, and financially. Alexis was overjoyed to find out her bestie Angel was attending UNT with her in college as well. She can't see this bridal party without her lifelong sister!

Dana "2-2" Taylor is Mark's best friend, Ellie's God-dad, and best man. They go way back to their Lake Highlands high school football field days. This guy is alongside Mark to be the life of the party and will always be sure to ensure everyone involved will have a great memorable time in the end. If it's one thing 2-2 has always been to Mark it's like another brother who's a man he can confide in through some of his hard times. And Mark has been there for him in that way as well.

Sherman "Trey" Powell. It goes without saying that this man is more than a cousin...he's Mark's brother. Mark and Trey grew up together (their dads are brothers). He not only helped by giving him wisdom, guidance, and encourage him in the right thing to do; but they have always had each other's backs since day 1. Mark couldn't imagine Trey anywhere else but right by his side on this biggest day.

JP! Fellow sir James Preston is Mark's best friend / LaeLa's God pops whom he has known since his high school basketball days. James is one of those people who means what he says and says what he means utterly and confidently without a doubt and sticks to it! That's why Mark trusts him to be apart of his big day because he knows James will come through and keep it real while having his back. And ensure Mark will have a great time... responsibly "Yessir my boy!"

James King! The one and only party man with responsibility. This guy is a fun-loving, honest, and comedic childhood basketball friend that Mark knew in high school too. He is close to the groom because of his spirit and their shared interest in travel, sports, and goals. He gives off positive vibes and good energy that this group needs and Mark can appreciate that which is why he was asked to be apart of his day.

Boy say...this guy and the groom have so much playful sayings and have been through so much together since beyond high school it is without a doubt that he can't see this man not being there on his wedding day celebrating the union with his soon-to-be wife. Jacobi has always been a great friend with football and the game as their connect ain't no tellin what Mark and Cobi gettin into.

Devonte! Mark and Devonte go way back as childhood friends! One thing about Devonte is his drive and hustle mentality to keep him and his family on track; and that's what him and the groom ultimately talk about; growth in their lives. They both work together under the same medical company along with James King...and Devonte may be serious at times but has a big heart to trust his boys and want them to be great. Why wouldn't Mark seek him to be up there with him on his day?!

Big Art! This is the brides cousin and Mark and him have grown close in the last 2 years knowing each other. They share interests such as their love for family, grilling, fishing, BBQs, the game, sports teams, and movies...it was a no-brainer to include him on his side of the wedding party since he feels like family already.
