Are children welcome at the ceremony/reception?

ABSOLUTELY! We want the whole family to be included on our big day :)

Is the wedding outside?

Answer

The ceremony IS outdoors (weather permitting). The venue has two barns-one for dinner and the second will have the bar area and dessert. The dance floor is also set up outdoors under the stars.

What is Michigan weather like in August?

Answer

Well, that is the million dollar question! As per weather records from the last three years for this date it "should" be around 85 degrees with a cool evening. The venue is very open and surrounded by fields so there will likely be a nice breeze. The dinner barn is air conditioned.

What will be served for dinner?

Answer

We will be having a BBQ style dinner.

Is this a kid friendly event?

Answer

Of course, we want everyone to be included on our big day. We will have lawn games and activities that can keep the little ones busy if they get bored. There will be no offensive music to worry about and plenty of dessert to sugar them up :)

How far is the hotel from the venue?

Answer

It is 15 miles and will take about 30 minutes to get to the venue. The venue is sort of in the middle of nowhere so be prepared for back roads.

What is the dress code?

Answer

The wedding theme is an outdoor barn vibe. Wear whatever you feel suits that, we are not picky. Your presence is greatly appreciated Exclusions apply. Exclusions: Birthday Suit Wedding Dress Pajamas

Is it a cash bar?

Answer

We are providing an open bar which will be available starting at 5:30P.M following the ceremony. There will also be plenty of non-alcoholic options to drink as well.

Is there a shuttle service to and from the ceremony to the hotel?

Answer

Unfortunately, no. Please accept our deepest apologies as we tried for months to get this coordinated. The venue is in a very rural area and this just wasn't something that we could make happen. Please utilize the option to carpool or ride share and drink responsibly. We wanted to make this happen in order to ensure that everyone got to and from safely, sadly it wasn't a possible option.

Are there restrooms on site?

Answer

YES!! This was a huge selling factor when we booked this venue. There are gorgeous restrooms inside of the dinner barn.
