Traveling by Ferry
For those coming from nearby or wishing to bring a car to the island, we recommend taking a ferry. Car reservations tend to fill up quickly, so it's essential to book your space when reservations open in January 2025. It is about an hour long boat ride from Woods Hole to the Vineyard. Please note, car reservations are required!

Martha's Vineyard Airport
Direct flights to Martha's Vineyard Airport (MVY) are available daily in the summer from: DCA - American Airlines, Jet Blue JFK - Delta, Jet Blue LGA - American Airlines, Delta BOS - Cape Air Other options: BWI - Fly to BOS then Cape Air to MVY. Or fly into PVD and take the SeaStreak ferry from New Bedford to Oak Bluffs.

Please be assured that the island provides a wide array of options for transportation, including Uber, Lyft, and various taxi companies. There are also several bike rental options.
