What is the date and time of the reception?

Answer

We are having a private ceremony on Friday night, and then, on Saturday, July 11, 2026 we are having a big party with all our family and friends from 5pm until 11pm at the Packard Proving Grounds in Shelby Township. There will be a cocktail hour at 5pm in the Lodge Garage and a dinner and reception to follow at 6pm in the Repair Garage.

Can I bring a plus-one?

Are children welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding will be primarily an adults-only event. A small number of children from our immediate family will be in attendance. Thank you so much for understanding!

What should I know about the venue?

Answer

The Packard Proving Grounds is a historic site with plenty of parking outside of the gates. Additional parking is located inside the gate; however, please note that if cars are left inside the gate after midnight, they will be locked in until Monday morning. A cocktail hour will open the evening in the Lodge Garage at 5pm, and at 6pm, we will move into the Repair Garage for the reception and dinner. The venue is air conditioned.

Where should I stay?

Answer

There are lots of hotels nearby. We have arranged for a block of rooms at the Cambria Hotel Shelby Township nearby. There will be a shuttle running to and from the hotel and the Packard Proving Grounds. More information on the hotel is in the "Travel" section of our site. We recommend calling the front desk at the hotel, (586) 473-0200, to arrange your stay and ensure that you are booked into the Steinmetz Dale Room Block.

What's on the menu?

Answer

Dinner will be served at stations throughout the room, inclusive of many dietary restrictions. Menu items include chicken, ribs, and vegetarian options. There will be a dessert table as well. We hope you enjoy the menu we selected!

Will there be drinks?

Yes, we will have a bar serving wine, beer, and spirits, featuring several signature cocktails for you to enjoy! Pop will be available as well.

We’re so grateful to celebrate with you! If you’d like to give a gift, we’ve registered for a selection of items to help us start our next chapter. You should be able to click through our registry on the navigation menu on this website. If you’d like to give a gift and aren’t finding something that fits your budget, we would truly appreciate a contribution toward our future together.
