Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL) is the closest airport to the venue and festivities (~18 min drive), but Miami International Airport (MIA) will also work well (~35 min drive).
Renting a car is optional. Uber and Lyft are widely available and affordable throughout the Miami and Fort Lauderdale metro area, so a car won’t be necessary unless you prefer having one for added convenience.
We have a curated list of vacation homes near our Florida home, all managed by the same property managers who care for our short-term rental. Each option is within one mile of our house. We also have a hotel room block for guests who prefer a hotel stay at Atlantic Hotel & Spa. Please visit the 'Travel' section of this website for more information.
While we love your little ones, we’ve chosen to make our wedding an adults-only celebration. If you’re planning to turn the trip into a family vacation and would like help finding local childcare options for the wedding events, please feel free to reach out — we’re happy to help where we can.
The dress code is Beach Formal — blending elegance with coastal ease. Think lightweight, breathable fabrics such as linen, chiffon, or cotton, in lighter colors or subtle prints that feel polished yet comfortable in a warm setting. For women, flowy maxi dresses, elevated midi dresses, or elegant jumpsuits are perfect. For men, light-colored suits or blazers paired with dress trousers work well; ties are optional but encouraged if you enjoy a more polished look. While the venue is a nature sanctuary (not sand), expect lots of dancing — so we recommend footwear that’s dressy yet comfortable, or something you won’t mind kicking off once the party gets going.
