Our two year anniversary, we spent on a trip in Helen, Georgia with another couple. I had my suspicions of a proposal, only because I had mentioned (only a million times) of wanting to get married soon. Kenneth and I had never been to Helen so we were just excited for the mountains and cold weather. We browsed the town on the second day of being there, and went to lunch. I wanted couples pictures done because we hardly had any pictures of us that were not selfies. I was very adamant and even sent Kelli (part time photographer) a text before the trip and told her we needed to fit in some time and get just a few couple pictures. After lunch, we went to an Escape Room, which are me and Kenneth's favorite pass time. After that, we are riding around looking for spots for our photo shoot. I am still so shocked that I didn't catch on in the moments, when Kenneth was pointing out places and saying "Let's find a mountain top!" because he NEVER wants to take pictures. (When do guys ever, lol.) I never batted an eye about it! We finally found a spot and are taking a few pictures and then they all 3 run to the bathroom. I still was not thinking anything about it (of course! I was just excited to finally have pictures). They came back and we took a couple more and then he suddenly got really tense (We did the airplane pose to get comfortable.) and I was like 'Can you please relax?' We finally decide to sit on the ground and Kelli took one photo of us and then it all happened so fast. He asked me to marry him and I was so full of EVERY emotions that I simply did not know how to react! It was truly SO perfect. I could not be happier.
