We met while working at Bushkill Group. I never imagined taking a job my uncle recommended me for would lead to meeting my life partner.
Just 4 years after meeting, we decided to embark on a huge journey together. We moved from Wilkes-Barre to Seattle where our commitment to each other grew 10 fold. Our commitment grew even deeper when we had our beautiful daughter Aurora. We now want to include all of the important people in our lives in celebrating our unity and commitment to our new family of 3! We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you!
A Handfasting Ceremony Wedding Ritual is also known as ‘hand-tying’. It’s a lovely Ancient Symbolic Wedding Ceremony with roots in Celtic traditions. It’s become really popular with modern couples in recent years. The wedding couple hold hands, which are gently tied together with cords in a symbolic knot. The binding of the hands symbolises your unity and the binding of your lives together. Hundreds of years ago being ‘hand tied’ was the way that couples were married (most brides and grooms couldn’t afford a gold or silver ring).
