It all started on a cold, foggy Saturday night in Charlotte, NC on October 1, 2023. We were both out with friends that night—Alexis celebrating a birthday, and Josh, convinced he was done with dating for good. Somehow, we ended up in the same place, where we spent what felt like forever just looking at each other… without either of us making a move. Eventually, Alexis decided she wasn’t going to wait any longer. On her way out, she walked right past Josh and called him out for staring all night without saying hello.
