FAQs

Question

When do the shuttles leave from the hotel?

Answer

The shuttles from the hotel to the ceremony will leave at 12:45pm and 1:00pm. Boarding begins 15 minutes prior to departure.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will start at 2:00 pm. Please arrive 15 minutes before the ceremony to get settled.

Question

How long is the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will last approximately one hour.

Question

If I’m not staying in the hotel, may I still take the shuttles?

Answer

Yes! Whether you’d like to park at the hotel and take the buses throughout the day, or just need a ride from the ceremony to the reception, we will have plenty of seats available.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Our wedding dress code is Summer Formal. We’d love for our guests to look polished while staying comfortable in the summer weather. Lightweight suits, linen, lighter colors, cocktail dresses, and long dresses are all great choices. As a reference, the groom and groomsmen will be wearing tan linen suits, and the bridesmaids will be in long coral dresses, so there’s no need to feel like a traditional dark suit is expected.

Question

Will there be air conditioning?

Answer

Yes and no! The ceremony at the church will be held indoors and is air conditioned. The reception at The Snapper Inn will take place under a covered pavilion on the bay and is not air conditioned. Fortunately, there is typically a nice breeze off the water, and the temperature usually cools down as the evening goes on. We recommend dressing with the summer weather in mind so you’ll be comfortable throughout the celebration.

Question

When does the reception conclude?

Answer

The reception concludes at 10:30pm. Shuttles will depart from the venue back to the hotel at 10:30 and 10:45pm.

Question

Are there any festivities after the wedding?

Answer

After the reception, we’ll be continuing the celebration at the Nu Lounge at the hotel (Hyatt Regency along Island). We’d love for guests to join us!
