When in wine country, wine taste! These local vineyards are all within a 20-30 minute drive. We particularly like Demetria, Babcock, Melville, Rusack, Rideau, Presqu'ile, and Riverbench. If you feel like a daytime excursion outside of Los Alamos, check out one of the neighboring towns: Solvang - a quaint Dutch town famous for windmills and ebelskivers. Los Olivos - great food, boutique shopping, and a plethora of tasting rooms. While it is hard to miss anything on Bell Street in Los Alamos, here are a few of our faves with some details on each:

Bob's Well Bread Bakery

Get here early! Amazing breakfast (and lunch) served from 7a-4p. Even if the line is long, it's worth the wait.

Babi's Beer Emporium

Great selection of beer and wine! Also, try some Southeast-Asian inspired bites at dim Sama located inside.

Pico Los Alamos

Farm/ranch to table at it's finest! Pico makes a point to source locally from the best farmers and ranchers in the area. Great place to share some bites and have a craft cocktail. Also pet friendly outside.

Bell's

The recent recipient of a Michelin star, Bell's serves lunch and dinner in a French inspired bistro setting. With almost daily changing offerings, lunch is open menu, whereas dinner is a prix fixe for $90. Reservations are required for dinner.

Priedite Barbecue

BBQ on Saturday and burgers on Sunday. 10:30 'till they run out.... and they do run out! Get there early or preorder on their website.
