It's no mystery that we met at work. We started out as friends and would have "lunch dates" everyday . Little did I know he had something else in mind for us. If you ask Jermy he will tell you I was always watching him through the window at work but everyone who was there knows the truth. Jermy was the one always watching me! We became really great friends and would always joke about going on a real date but never went until I sent the text "When are you going to take me on this date you keep promising me?" nervously. He replied with "How about Friday?" I told him "How about 7?" From there we fell in love and have forever been changed. Our journey is just beginning and we cannot wait to see where life takes us. How did Jermy pop the question? February 29,2020 started off stressful simply because I was 8 months pregnant and had all my friends and family helping me set up for our baby shower. Everything was set up perfectly we had all our family and friends there playing games eating food and just having a great time. I noticed Jermy started acting really nervous when we were opening the gifts and I couldn't figure out why. After we opened what I thought was all of the gifts I heard Kevin yelling "is that all the gifts? Naw, you forgot a gift!" I was so confused and started looking around trying to find the gift and then I hear the whole room start screaming and cheering. As I turn around there he is down on one knee with the ring in the box and all I could do was smile. Everyone knows Jermy doesn't do anything "normal" he asked me "Do you want to be apart of the gang? Do you want to change your last name?" Then finally "Will you marry me?" Of course I said yes!
