One summer day at a birthday party in 2015 is the first time that Alexis and Jeremiah met, little did they know, who they would become to each other months or even years later. After meeting again in 7th grade, some friends reintroduced them. It wasn’t until May 21, 2016, that Jeremiah asked Alexis to be his girlfriend. After many trials and tribulations between middle school and high school, it was in 2019 when they made their relationship official again, and since then they have been inseparable. They spent all their summers together, going on family trips and hanging out with friends. After their graduation in 2021, Jeremiah moved out on his own, and within a few short months, Alexis moved in with him. Although this was not their parent’s favorite thing, they did it anyways. Fast forward to February of 2022, for Alexis's birthday, Jeremiah got her their first fur baby, Buddy. After surviving their first year of college together and living the apartment life, they decided to get a house. That summer Jeremiah went to Air Assault school for a couple weeks, this was the first time they had been apart since moving in with one another. Once Jeremiah came back, he decided he wanted to get another dog, which led them to their second fur baby, Artie. They endured yet another year of college together and in the summer of 2023 they decided to take a summer trip. Little did Alexis know that he had something planned for this trip whenever it was booked. Alexis had been bugging Jeremiah about proposing for months and he would always say "Let's not rush, we have time". Fast forward to their summer trip to South Padre. They were getting ready on the second night to go to dinner and take pictures on the beach. Once they got to the beach there was a cute setup of flowers and a picnic, which was super cute, but not for her. As they began taking pictures Alexis stumbled over a glass bottle with a note in it; a glass bottle on a beach, mysterious. Alexis then picked up the bottle and opened it and before she could even read it, Jeremiah was down on one knee with a ring in his hand! Alexis said yes, of course! They spent the rest of their trip taking in their engagement and spending time together. They have now been together for 8 years, and many more are to come! They cannot wait for everyone to join them on their special day!
