We rode the bus together for years. It wasn’t until I was in the 6th grade, and him in the 8th, that he finally spoke to me. I remember we had just got on the bus after being let out for Christmas Break. My phone had gotten broke in my backpack, and he leaned over toward my seat and said “Duck tape fixes everything you know.” After that, we were instantly friends. For two more years, we’d goof around on the bus but neither of us knew that we had one major thing in common; we were crushing. Hard. I was the first one to make a move in May of 2015. I remember we were texting about him coming over to my house to hang out. I wanted to date him so bad. It had been on my mind heavy, and i decided it was time to let him know even if I got shut down because he didn’t feel the same way. To my surprise, the feeling was mutual. May 7, 2015 was the day we made it official.❤️ Fast forward to Christmas eve, 2018. We were enjoying the holidays with his family, watching everyone open their gifts as we did every year prior. Little did I know, my gift was being saved for the end. He walks out, holding a box full of flowers. I open it, cameras were rolling, and he got on one knee to ask me the special question. Tears rolling down my face, i proudly shake my head yes. That was the best night of my life! Here we are now, planning our wedding. September 28, 2019 will now be our date. We can’t wait! ❤️🤵🏻👰🏻
