During your time in Athens, take notice of these painted bulldogs around town. As a part of city pride, they sit in front of businesses all around Athens - each with a unique design!
Inoko Hibachi Express Eastside
This restaurant is run by an amazing staff. We are good friends with all of them, and we love their food. This meal pictured here is our favorite - the DAWG bowl.
Botanical Gardens
This is one of our favorite spots to visit for a relaxing afternoon walk. It is free to visit and absolutely beautiful. In July, I am sure flowers will be in full bloom and it will be stunning.
Downtown Athens
The college students here know better than anyone - downtown Athens is where to go for a fun night out. The variety of restaurants, bars, and shops makes it a full experience. If you have a free night in Athens, we recommend going downtown and seeing where it takes you.
The Arch
This is especially a suggestion to the Georgia Bulldogs fans coming into town. Athens is the home of the Dawgs and the UGA Arch is in the middle of downtown, so it is a must see if you are out and about. Be warned, though, there are superstitions that say you should not walk under it if you haven't graduated from college yet.
Creature Comforts Brewery
Creature Comforts is an Athens based company with its brewery is right here in town. They are known for their creatively flavored IPAs. Visit here to try all of their unique flavors and have a fun and laid-back time with friends.
