Question

Who do I call if I have any questions?

Answer

Feel free to reach out to our wedding planner, Alexis, via email (Owner@alexisvictoriaevents.com), or by phone- call or text 858.401.2581. With our busy schedules we have minimal free time and she is well informed about all of the ins and outs of our special day. please go to her with any question BIG or SMALL.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

20-30 minutes before the wedding start time. That would mean arrive around 5:30-5:40, the ceremony starts at 6pm. Once the groom walks down the aisle we will no longer allow for guests to come in, as it would interrupt the ceremony.

Where do I park?

Answer

Once you arrive there will be valet service in front of the venue. You can also self park in the hotel parking lot.

Will I have to pay for parking?

Answer

For guests parking their car the day of, there will be no fee. However, this waived fee does not apply to overnight parking, you will be charged a regular rate for overnight parking. The best way to bypass this fee will be to uber/lyft which is recommended if you are consuming alcohol.

is there a dress code?

Answer

YES! Black Tie. Strictly all guests to wear black.

Is transportation being provided between the wedding venue and our hotel?

Answer

Guests are responsible for all forms of transportation.

I am coming from out of town. Where should I stay?

Answer

Please visit Travel tab in the above menu section for flight, rental car, and hotel recommendations. If those selections don't accommodate your needs you can check AIR BnB or hotels.com

Should I bring my gift to the wedding?

Answer

Thank you for thinking of us! You can send our gift via registry or bring to the wedding. We will happily place it in a safe place and open after.

Can I ask the bride and groom to take individual pictures with me during the wedding?

Answer

Feel free to take as many pictures with us as you want!

What if I arrive late?

Answer

5 minutes before ceremony start time guests will no longer be allowed to be seated and will be escorted to the cocktail hour space. We will do one last shuttle & lobby check before we get things started so please show up early rather than late.

Does the venue accommodate handicapped persons?

Answer

Yes, the venue is wheelchair accessible and handicapped accessible.

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

With each invite you were given a space for how many "plus 1's" allowed, if any. We would love to accommodate more guests; however, we have a certain amount of space and a hefty guest list so in the interest of what we have planned you can only bring the amount allowed on your invitation. If you have questions if you have a plus one or not please contact our planner, Alexis Harris, for questions.

I’ve drank and don’t want to drive. Can I leave my car and pick it up the next day?

Answer

YES! We do not encourage drinking and driving so we ask that you leave your car overnight. Hotel parking fees may apply.

Is there a hotel Room block?

Answer

Yes! We would love for you to stay at the venues hotel for a discounted room rate. Please visit the travel tab for our exact hotel and room block code.

Will there be Valet?

Answer

There will be a valet service available at the front entrance of the hotel. The fee is $30.
