Our Story
Gibson, a pharmacist from Zimbabwe, and Alexis, a chemist from Temecula, first crossed paths in March 2022 on Hinge—the app “designed to be deleted.” A virtual rose from Gibson led to their first date at Eddie V’s in San Diego, and a memorable weekend at Wilson Creek Winery in Alexis’ hometown. From that moment on, they were inseparable.
With 370 miles between Arizona and California, they traveled, realizing that not even distance could keep them apart. Every shared chapter brought their hearts closer. Of all their adventures, Christmas in New York unified the depth of their love with the city’s magical charm—a moment Gibson calls the reason he came to the U.S.
A foundation built on faith, laughter, passion for science, and effortless chemistry grew with every prayer, every mile, and every moment. In September 2024, Gibson proposed at Wilson Creek, where their love story came full circle. Together, they step into forever—hand in hand and guided by God’s grace.
