We're Getting Married!!

We met back in 2011, when we both took a chance with online dating. After a few weeks of getting to know each other via emails, texts and calls, I happened to be in New York City with one of my friends for a concert. Our concert ended up getting cancelled, so Alex decided to cut out of work early and meet us. This 1st "date" would turn out to be less than ideal. First, Alex walks into the restaurant to find me and my friend in the middle of having emotional girl talk in tears (awkward!), then the 3 of us while walking around Time Square got caught in the pouring rain with no umbrellas and after hanging out for the evening and hopping from place to place, Alex forgets where he parked his car. This results in us walking around for over 30 minutes to help him find it. Needless to say, neither of us made a good first impression and neither of us were sure if there would even be a 2nd date. However, here we are 13 years later, living together in a completely different state, proud dog parents and planning a wedding. We look back on that day and laugh knowing that things could have only gotten better, and we are both so glad that we went on that 2nd date. The past 13 years have been nothing short of amazing and we are super excited to share our special day with all of you.
