We met in New Orleans at the Bourbon Cowboy on Bourbon Street. Alexis was in town for a college football game, and Drew was visiting with friends. It was October 2019. We got a few months of pre-COVID dating. Alexis was finishing law school at the University of Florida and Drew was working at Vanguard in North Carolina. We spent the first few months of 2020 driving back and forth between Florida and North Carolina. In March 2020 we visited New York City, the week before COVID lockdowns began. When Drew’s office closed and moved to remote work, he relocated to Gainesville, where we spent the pandemic together. With a couple twists and turns in between, Drew and Alexis (and Lily) moved in together in New York in February 2022. For the last year we’ve split our time between the city and the Hudson Valley. We got engaged at our favorite beach in November 2024, and now we can't wait to celebrate our upcoming wedding with you all.
