We're Getting Married!

We met at our Alma Mater, East Carolina University in Greenville, NC during our freshman year. Douglas asked for a ride to the mall and afterwards thought he was cute enough to ask for my phone number- he was! We kicked it for a while as friends and then the rest was history!

We went to Asheville, for a nice get-away weekend to celebrate my birthday. We made plans to hit the slopes looking for a day filled with fun, new experiences. First, let me just say....I was terrified out of my mind as I fell a thousand times bruising every spot on my body and little children zoomed right by me. Douglas probably fell more than I did. As I am nearing my breaking point, Douglas disappears and I am very upset. He soon reappears on a knee with a beautiful ring!
