We're Getting Married

We first met at Oakwood University during freshman orientation. We both vividly remember the first time we saw each other across the room and there was an immediate attraction. We were placed in the same orientation group, but for the next few days, we didn't speak. Then, on the first day of classes, we had our first real conversation. We compared schedules and discovered we had most of the same classes and soon became lab partners. As time passed, a friendship developed that eventually grew into a relationship. Over the years, we've achieved so much together—graduating from college, getting into medical school, and taking steps toward our dreams. More than anything, our love has blossomed into something beautiful, something we can share for the rest of our lives. God has led us this far and we look forward to how His hand will continue to guide our future.
