FAQs

The Wedding Website of Alexis Clifton and David Weaver
Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

As written on our invitation, please RSVP by February 1st, 2027, so that we can take count of vendor services, rentals, and more. If you have any concerns, please reach out to us!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

The amount of people expected in your party is listed on your invitation. We are strict on our numbers, so please stay within the number provided! If you have a plus one, your invite reads as 2 people expected.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

We ask that you dress in formal or dressy casual for our day. Strictly no whites/off-whites, or anything easily confused with white. Also no Carolina Blue, as we will be sporting our main wedding color in the details!

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Hart Square has its own large parking space that will have more than enough room for all vehicles! It's right next to the site of our ceremony and The Sigmon Family Education Center, which is the location of the reception.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Yes! Kids in our families are accounted for. This is also noted by the party number on your invitation. If there are extra that may need to come, or not as many as we anticipated, please let us know ASAP.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

There are lots of affordable places to stay for those traveling longer distances! We have a couple listed under the 'Travel' page. For easier booking OR those all traveling from the same place and looking to stay as a group (I'm looking at you, St. A's folks!!) we recommend Airbnb!

Question

What should I expect from the Ceremony?

Answer

As we are both of Native American heritage, the style and tradition of our ceremony will be based in our ancestral ways, which may not be typical to the average wedding some have attended. It goes without saying, though, that our friends and family of all religions, faiths, and practices are welcome and encouraged to partake in this special moment! We believe we all exist beneath the same Creator, and share the same love.
