In 2011, when Alexis was 15 and Dante was 16, they met on a mutual friend's camping trip. The connection was instantaneous, and their relationship shifted the course of both of their lives. They've been together ever since that day, through high school, college, and graduate school. On August 4, 2016, Dante asked Alexis to marry him on the ferris wheel in Niagara Falls, Canada. Obviously, she said yes!
