WE'RE GETTING MARRIED!

Like any modern romance, we met on a dating app - specifically Hinge, "the app designed to be deleted." After hours of messaging and phone calls, we met in person for the very first time for lunch at Zen Ramen on August 27, 2023. Both of us were initially filled with some first date nerves, but soon enough we became inseparable. We went to Point Ruston after lunch for coffee and a walk by the waterfront. Our first date ended after five hours, and our next date was only two days later. One thing led to another, and here we are!

Last summer, we planned a trip to Seaside, OR with our parents and Daniel's three young nephews. What started as a beautiful afternoon by a beach bonfire turned into one of the most unforgettable moments of our lives. Daniel had brought his guitar and soon began singing a song he had written for Alexis. Daniel ended the song on one knee and proposed - to which Alexis of course said "Yes!" The proposal was everything we could have dreamed of — intimate, meaningful, and full of love. We’re so excited to celebrate the next chapter of our story with all of you.
