Question

I'm not Catholic. Can I still attend the ceremony? What should I expect?

Answer

Yes, all are warmly welcome to attend the wedding ceremony. It will take place as part of a Catholic Mass, which includes readings, prayers, music, and the celebration of the Eucharist (Communion). If you're not Catholic or not comfortable participating in Communion, you're invited to simply remain seated or come forward with your arms crossed for a blessing- whatever you prefer. Just being there to celebrate with us means the world!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We encourage all guests to wear formal attire. Formal dress code for women includes floor length gowns or evening dresses, elegant pantsuits, or chic cocktail dresses. Formal dress for men includes a suit or tux. Please no jeans!

Question

What time should we arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Plan plan to arrive at least 15-20 minutes early. Catholic ceremonies usually start promptly, and arriving early helps ensure a smooth and reverent beginning.
