Alexis and Anthony’s story began in 2022 at what was then RDV Sportsplex in Orlando—thanks to a little matchmaking and a shared love of tennis. From afar, Alexis’s best friend Morgan spotted Anthony playing tennis alongside her former coach, James. After catching up and being introduced, Morgan knew immediately that Anthony was someone Alexis had to meet. She quickly called Alexis with the exciting news that she had found her a cute boy and insisted they all play tennis together. What started as a bit of hesitation soon turned into excitement when Alexis and Anthony finally met on the court. A few group tennis sessions later, the two found themselves spending more time together, talking, laughing, and getting to know one another beyond tennis. It didn’t take long before Anthony asked Alexis out on their first official date. That first date grew into an exclusive and committed relationship within just a few months. Around that same time, Alexis had moved to Tampa, beginning what they jokingly called a “medium-distance” relationship. Despite the miles, they made it work with ease, excitement, and plenty of trips back and forth, growing even closer along the way. Anthony and Alexis bonded over their shared values, passions, and love for simply being together. Their days could include anything from trying new restaurants, playing tennis or golf, cooking a fun new recipe, traveling to beautiful places, or going for a long walk—always prioritizing quality time and laughter. After three wonderful years together (and the addition of one very loved golden retriever), Anthony proposed to Alexis in the breathtaking setting of Banff National Park on August 28, 2025. Surrounded by mountains, nature, and the love they’ve built together, Alexis said yes to forever. Now, they can’t wait to celebrate the next chapter of their story with the people they love most.
