Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

A formal invitation has been sent. We will require all RSVPs be in by August 1, 2022 to solidify all plans.

Question

When should I book our stay at the resort?

Answer

Book as soon as you're ready, but recommend doing so no later than 2 months in advance. Please note, full payment is due at the time of booking. Which is why we wanted to provide plenty of notice to allow time to save! Additionally, you must book through our link (in the travel tab of this website) or by mentioning our wedding block (on the phone or via email). This will guarantee the best possible rate and that you're included in headcount for all events.

Question

What if I want to stay at a different hotel/resort?

Answer

You're more than welcome to look into other accommodations. However, we strongly encourage staying at the Grand! We will be spending lots of time together (outside of events) at the pool, beach, for meals, etc. and we would hate for you to miss out on this! Additionally, if you stay outside the Grand, you will need to purchase a day pass in order to attend the wedding. The cost is approx $250 per person for a day pass. Be sure to factor this and transportation to the Grand in when calculating cost of your stay elsewhere. If you do elect to stay in another place, please let us know when you RSVP, so we can communicate this to our wedding planners.

Is airport transportation to the resort available?

Answer

Yes! All stays of 4 nights or more include free round trip transportation. You can coordinate with the hotel booking agent once your flights are booked. (They need flight times to confirm transfer.) If you are staying less than 4 nights, the cost is $35 and can also be arranged with the hotel as soon as you have your flight information.

Do I have to pay for anything at the resort?

Answer

No! This is the great thing about all-inclusive! All food and beverage (including alcohol), non-motorized water sports, and activities such as the water park / wave rider are included in your stay! You will receive resort credits based on the number of nights you stay that you can use towards the spa, for motorized water sport activities, golf, etc. Rest assured there is plenty to do that’s completely free of charge! The only cash you will need is for tips. We do recommend tipping your favorite waiters throughout the week, housekeeping and transport drivers. This is optional, but much appreciated by the staff!

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes! Please let us know of any food allergies when you RSVP.

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

We have a registry tab here on the Zola website, however we know attending will be an expense. Your presence is a gift, so don't feel obligated to send a gift!
