Glen's Falls + Eagle's Bluff

This trail goes first to Glen's Falls (an awesome 30ft waterfall with a cold swimming hole) and then can be continued along to hike up to Eagle's Bluff (a rock outcropping overlooking Lake Morey). A picnic at Glen's Falls was one of Amelia and Alexis' first dates and Eagle's Bluff is where they (and Amelia's grandparents) got engaged.

Gile Mountain

Short and sweet hike up to a fire tower with 360 views.

Palisades Hike

2.3 mile roundtrip hike up to a cliff with great views. It also happens to be an ancestral nesting site for peregrine falcons, so this trail is closed from early-mid summer when they are nesting. Park at the Fairlee Fire Station and head toward the back right side of the parking lot (there is a kiosk here) and continue past the fence that separates the fire station from the 1-91S off ramp. Follow the treeline until you see the trail cut into the woods on the left.

Moose Mountain

4.2 mile loop. Let us know if you see a Moose 👀

Mount Cube Trailhead

4.9 mile out and back on the Cross Rivendell Trail

Mount Ascutney

5.5 mile out and back (on the Weathersfield trail). There is also an access road that can be used to drive up. Make sure to grab lunch and/or ice cream at Brownsville Butcher and Pantry if you do this!
