Tyler and Alexis met online in the fall of 2021, and what started as a simple first date at Applebee’s quickly turned into something neither of them expected. In the early days, they found themselves spending more and more time together, creating memories at Blake’s Orchard & Cider Mill, the place where Tyler was introduced to Alexis’ loud, loving, and slightly chaotic circle of friends. Somewhere between those moments, it became clear that what they had was something special. From the beginning, it was the little things that mattered most, building a life side by side through shared routines and simple joys. Whether it’s caring for their ever-growing fish tanks, spending time with their two cats Lilly and Luna, competing in step challenges, or enjoying long summer days on the boat with Tyler’s family, and grilling/cooking together! Their life together is filled with laughter, love, and a whole lot of goofiness. Alexis keeps things interesting with her constant pranks, and Tyler wouldn’t have it any other way! In July 2022, they took a big step forward and moved into their first apartment, turning it into a place that truly felt like home. On January 10th, 2025, during a trip to Cancún, Tyler asked Alexis to spend forever with him. After quietly choosing the perfect spot during one of their beach walks, he suggested they go take sunset pictures before dinner, using a tripod he had bought “because Alexis loves pictures so much.” With the sun setting around them and no one else in sight, Tyler asked Alexis to be his partner for life. From a nearby balcony, a couple who happened to witness the moment cheered them on, adding an unexpected and beautiful touch to a memory they will cherish forever. In September 2025, they found their first house together, another dream realized, and another chapter in the life they are building side by side! At the heart of it all, Tyler and Alexis have found not only love, but a best friend in each other, someone to laugh with, grow with, and navigate life’s adventures hand in hand. They are beyond excited to begin their lives as husband and wife and to celebrate this next chapter surrounded by the people they love most.
