With the Delta variant not taking any hints, we encourage all of our guests to take the necessary precautions to ensure our event does not become a "super-spreader". The Bride and Groom are both fully vaccinated and will be getting tested the Thursday before the rehearsal dinner. We highly suggests our guests do the same. Weather permitting, the ceremony and cocktail hour will be completely outdoors. The reception is held inside with many french doors and windows that will remain open throughout the evening. We will also have hand sanitizing stations throughout the venue.
Weather permitting, the ceremony is taking place on a sandy beach by the river. The pathway to the ceremony location is rocky, so sensible shoes are recommended. We recommend cocktail attire for the ceremony and reception. But for the after-party, bring your finest comfortable sweats to enjoy the bonfire on the beach!
Weddings are all about families, including the little ones. Though we'd recommend leaving them at home to be able to indulge in adult fun, children are more than welcome at our wedding!
No. The venue is in the Pisgah National Forest, where cell phone service does not reach. We love this! We want to invite you to put up ALL your devices and be present with your friends and family. Trust us, with 38,000 acres of rugged mountains surrounding us and beautiful Wilson Creek right at your finger-tips, there is more than plenty to do! If needed, we do have WiFi up at our Rock Pavilion and main deck area.
Parking is very limited. We recommend using our trolley service for those staying within range, or utilizing one of the local taxi services like AbbyCab.
Unfortunately with the lack of cell phone reception, uber and lyft are not going to be reliable transportation methods following the reception. However, we have arranged for trolley services to and from the venue to a local hotel. For those not staying on site or within the trolley range, we recommend scheduling transportation ahead of time.
