Creole Nature Trail All-American Road

The Creole Nature Trail allows you to experience Louisiana marshlands including alligators and over 400 species of birds, 26 miles of beaches, fishing, and crabbing. It is one of 43 designated scenic byways in the USA.
Lake Charles Lakefront Promenade/Bord du Lac Park

The winding Lakefront Promenade provides a pleasant atmosphere for walkers, bikers and joggers from the Marina past the Civic Center to the Veterans War Memorial. The newly-enhanced Civic Center Seawall and Park has added attractions with Millennium Park, PPG Interactive Fountain, 9/11 Memorial and beautiful indigenous marsh vegetation.
