On October 22nd, 2021 Alexii approached Luke at the Penrose on the Upper East Side. Stephanie, Alexii's cousin/basically sister and good-luck charm, was visiting that weekend and wanted to see the bar Alexii frequented and spoke of fondly. Luke was there for the first time with his best friend, Chris. Posted up and reading sides for an audition, Luke saw Alexii, Stephanie, and friends approach their table. "Whatcha reading?" she said. "Sides. Can you help me pronounce this word?" "I can try--I studied linguistics." To this day, she cannot pronounce that word. The two started dating and fell in love. Over the last three years, they've gone to the Penrose on October 22nd each year to order the drinks they were having on the night they met: An espresso martini and a Guinness.

Over the years, Alexii and Luke have been so lucky to celebrate the simplest moments and the grander adventures together. Luke proposed on February 8th, 2025 on their rooftop with six dozen roses. He ordered the bouquet from one of Alexii's alumni which made it extra special. He did this not only for the sake of the surprise, but so that they could do their latest adventure, a trip to Iceland, as fiancés.

We are both incredibly grateful that we found one another and cannot wait to celebrate with you! We hope that by waiting until 2027 to tie the knot, it will grant more time for those planning to have a vacation in Greece.
