Is your wedding still happening on Saturday, September 19, 2020?

Answer

Unfortunately, due to Covid-19 and the restrictions that need to take place to ensure everyone’s safety we must cancel our wedding.

What is your new wedding date?

Answer

At this time, we do not have a new date set. We hope to host a wedding reception party at some point in the future.

Are you still registered?

Answer

Yes! We are registered at Bed, Bath and Beyond, as well as Macy’s and Zola. You can find our registries under the Registry tab. The Zola items we registered for will be shown first, but if you keep scrolling you will see a link for Macy’s and Bed, Bath and Beyond.

Wait! Were you guys really married in a park?

Answer

Yes! Knowing that September was questionable, we did have a ceremony with an officiant at Rittenhouse Square on July 26, 2020. It was perfect! You can read more about and see pics under the Photos tab.

What do your parents think?

Answer

Of course! Both sets of parents are very happy for our decision to “elope” given that September was uncertain and now that we have had to cancel our wedding on September 19.

Did you write and recite vows during your ceremony on 7/26?

Answer

The plan was that we both write and recite vows on the 26th since vows are not recited during the Greek Orthodox wedding ceremony. However, one of us was a loss for words and recited a poem and Alexi wrote and read beautiful vows that had everyone present in tears and laughing.
