Growing up as an only child, I felt so lucky to have a cousin exactly my age. Carly became my sister from the moment we were born. Always together at family parties, taking the blame for whatever "shape" the basement was in, playing dress up, making up dance routines- Carly is my person. I always told Carly she didn't have a choice, she had to be in my wedding....well Car, it's time<3

Not having any siblings, I was nervous to come into a family with four siblings and on top of that, three older sisters. Being Brandt's oldest sister, I knew the importance of meeting Jen for the first time. I'll never forget the moment when Brandt sat us next to each other at my first Schottland family dinner. Jen was kindhearted, inviting, thoughtful and someone I couldn't wait to get to know better! Since then, I have enjoyed creating countless memories and cannot wait for more to come! Libby was the first of Brandt's sister's that I met...on my second date with Brandt. Whether or not that was intentional is still up for debate! From the moment I met Libby I could see how genuine, sweet and caring she truly is. Since then, I have enjoyed getting to know Libby and her adorable babies more and more. I cannot wait to see how our relationship grows and the memories we continue to make. Words cannot express how grateful I am to you for genuinely welcoming me into your family<3

Meghan is the youngest sister and closest in age to Brandt. She is fun-loving, passionate and just the right amount of nutty, like me:) Meghan and I bonded immediately and I am so grateful for all the love and support she has given every step of the way. We have already been together for so many special moments, engagements, your wedding day and I cannot wait for many more amazing memories to come! I am so lucky to have you in my life<3

Lexi and Mary Kate met in elementary school and have remained best friends for over 20 years now! As they grew up they grew closer through countless sleepovers, choreographed dances in MK's bedroom, hibachi dinners and getting ready for all the special occasions during their Mercy days. Throughout those years there has been so much change and growth to an amazing friendship but we just keep getting closer. I am so lucky to have such an amazing friend like you in my life<3

Lexi and Liz have been best friends since the second grade at St. Louis Elementary. Where they bonded over goldfish crackers, cupcakes and dancing around the kitchen to music and really, not much has changed in 20 years!! No matter where life has taken them, their friendship has never wavered. I am so lucky to have such an incredible friend in you Lizzy <3
Best Man
Lee and Brandt met through their mutual friend Davis and became close from the very beginning. The three of them grew up bouncing around Rochester and heading to the lake during the summer. Lee and Brandt both moved to NYC after college and naturally as best friends decided to live with one another. Lee also knew Lexi from growing up in Rochester and was the one who encouraged Brandt to build up the courage to ask Lexi on their first date. Lee has always been like the brother Brandt never had and that is why he asked him to be his best man.
Groomsman
Brandt and Brendan first got to know each other when Brendan began dating Brandt's sister Jen. During that time Brandt and Brendan became very close and Brandt even stood with Brendan the day he married Jen. Brendan became the first addition to Brandt's family and his only brother at that time. They have been fantastic friends and family for 9 years and of course Brandt had to have Brendan stand with him on his wedding day.
Groomsman
What can be said about Fred that hasn’t already been said. Freddie is a fun-loving guy with a huge personality and he loves Brandt’s sister Libby unconditionally; so naturally Fred and Brandt got along great from the get-go. When Libby and Freddie tied the knot in 2015, Freddie asked Brandt to stand with him on that important day. It only seemed right to have his brother do the same on his big day.
Groomsman
Matt was the latest addition to Brandt’s family, marrying his sister Meghan in February, and even though they've only begun their relationship, Brandt and Matt became great friends instantly. They have an incredible amount in common, enjoy the same music, and genuinely enjoy hanging with each other. Brandt performed the ceremony at Meghan and Matt’s wedding and it was the experience of the lifetime. So of course, Brandt wanted to have Matt stand with him on his wedding day!
Groomsman
Davis is Brandt's oldest friend and resident good guy of the group. While Lee and Brandt were starting their careers in NYC they were missing Davis as he was busy in Peru giving back through the Peace Corps. Davis knew Lexi as well growing up in Rochester and was over the moon excited when Brandt asked Lexi to be his wife. He has always been the friend Brandt looked to for guidance so Brandt couldn’t get married without him as a groomsman!
Groomsman
Morra and Brandt became close friends at Ithaca College where they helped resurrect the Fraternity that Peter Schottland, Brandt's father, was once President of. They spent tireless hours working to create an organization that gave back to the community while also enjoying their time in college. Morra and Brandt both moved to NYC at the same time and even lived with one another for their first month in the Big Apple. The both of them have made so many memories together it only seemed right to add the memory of groomsman to the bank.
Groomsman
Tamburri was one of Brandt’s best friends in college. They were in the same Fraternity and moved to NYC where Mike Tamburri lived with Mike Morra, confusing, we know. Brandt, Lee, Morra, and Tamburri all spent three years in the city working, helping one another where they could and enjoying NYC. Mike Tamburri and Brandt were always able to get each other laughing and enjoying the moment but they also would help one another at the drop of a hat. He is one of the best friends Brandt could have ever asked for and that’s why Brandt needed him with him on his wedding day.

Duncan and Brandt both attended Ithaca college where they became good friends and again, were in the same fraternity. The two of them have always been great friends but have become even closer after graduation as they would get together every time Brandt was home in Rochester. When Brandt moved back home and began dating Lexi, Duncan was the first of Brandt’s friends he wanted to introduce to his future bride. Duncan has always been there to keep Brandt in line and that’s why he asked Duncan to stand with him on the day he married Lexi.
