How We Met We met in the summer of 2024, thanks to a little divine matchmaking—through my brother Anthony, who also happens to be Michael’s best friend. What started as a casual connection quickly blossomed into something deeply rooted in friendship and faith. Our first date was at College Night at CBC Church. Surrounded by worship, laughter, and community, it felt like the perfect beginning to something truly special. From that night forward, our hearts continued to grow closer as we shared not just moments, but purpose. ⸻ Our Marriage On March 31, 2025, we were married in a simple and intimate courthouse ceremony. Though small in size, it was big in love and meaning. My maid of honor, Amaya Telles, and her husband, Frank Telles, stood by our side as our witnesses—a moment that we will always hold close to our hearts. Together, we’ve built our relationship on shared passions—nature walks, gym dates (for the mutual motivation!), trying new foods and recreating them at home, and, most importantly, Bible study. Every part of our life points back to the foundation of our faith. ⸻ Our Faith What we love most about each other is how we live out Proverbs 27:17: “As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another.” In every season, we challenge and encourage each other to grow closer to our Heavenly Father. Our love and our marriage would not be possible without the Lord’s constant guidance and favor. We pray with and for each other—grateful for the grace that holds us together. ⸻ Looking Ahead Although we are currently in a season of physical distance while Michael is away for seven months, we have never felt more connected. The comfort of the Holy Spirit continues to fill us with peace, strength, and purpose. This time apart has only deepened our love and strengthened our faith. We are so excited for the future and all that God has in store for us. Our story is just beginning, and we can’t wait to walk every step of it together—hand in hand, heart to heart, and always led by our Lord and Savior.
