Juan All my life I wanted to serve at Bethel. It’s been my dream. From sleepless nights, shoveling snow, to cutting myself in preparing breakfast for the Governing Body, I wanted to give it my all. Then came Fall 2023. All the special events at bethel were finished. I was exhausted but I knew I had to give my all to Jehovah. I got invited to a wedding reception from a sister at my hall. I didn’t wanted to go, but something in me told me to go. Little did I knew, that one decision was the beginning of a change. As the months went on, I knew I wasn’t ready to date - my priority was bethel. What impressed me was that she understood the importance of my assignment. So we kept in touch. Simple texts became long messages, long messages became phone calls, and those phone calls lead me to see, WOW, I have feelings for this girl. When we started our courtship, I told her again bethel is my priority while I’m here. In fact, she was keeping check whether I was doing well on my assignment! What truly made me love her, is her love for the ministry. She truly has the spirit of a pioneer. And I thank Jehovah God for letting me see this true beauty.

Desde el principio de mi carrera cristiana, Jehová me ha demostrado su amor leal al hacerme ver claramente las palabras encontradas en Proverbios 17:17. Aproveche mi tiempo sirviendo a Jehová junto a mis amigos. Nuestras salidas eran épicas porque no había un día que saliéramos a predicar sin que no fuéramos a tomar boba o comer. Nuestras conversaciones eran tan versátiles, que podían ser acerca de una hoja que se cae de un árbol a tener vacaciones a México. E incluso compartíamos nuestros pensamientos en cuanto a cuáles eran nuestras metas espirituales, personales y seglar. Por ejemplo, yo siempre tuve el deseo de que un día conocería a alguien que ame a Jehová tanto como yo. Para mi sorpresa el otoño 🍁 del 2023 conocí a una persona especial quien convertiría en mi ahora prometido. Al principio pensé que era una persona muy seria pero MUY SERIA y QUE NO SABÍA CÓMO PRONUNCIAR MI NOMBRE. Sin embargo, mientras más lo conocía más me enamoraba de sus bonitas cualidades. Les cuento que las visitas a Betel, las salidas con los amigos, sus llamadas, el amor que le tiene a Jehová me hizo quererlo más. Recuerdo que en una de nuestras salidas comimos mi comida favorita y fuimos a Target. Y el día que me preguntó que fuera su novia recreo esa bonita memoria ♥️ con la ayuda de Jehová espero compartir mi vida con esta persona maravillosa…
