Why am I so lucky to be taken on this adventure of a lifetime?

Answer

Because you are cool and we are cool. Cool people should do cool shit together. Plus, you've made an impact on us over the years, and we want to celebrate our love with our favorite people!

Where do I send the $1,000 per person deposit to secure my spot?

Answer

Please send your deposit to @Jason-Roth-50 (it's a picture of Jason with a mask on for some reason) no later than July 31st.

Why do I have to commit so far in advance?

Answer

We get it, we are asking for you to make a big commitment super far in advance. But, Backroads is not only requiring a deposit for each person by the middle of July, but is also requiring a list of a minimum of twelve names and contact information for each guest in order to make our trip private. We've preemptively provided them your name (in hopes you say yes), and protecting your invitation until the end of July. If you're unsure if you can make it, we may open the invitation up to others to ensure we can meet Backroads required minimums. We want you there and because of that, are giving you first right of refusal. In order to secure your spot, we will need your RSVP and per person deposit no later than July 31st.

What if I don't want to do all of the activities?

We chose Backroads because their trips are designed to be flexible, giving you the freedom to experience the best of the region the way YOU want. Feel like you're ready to go, go, go? They can show you the way! Want some downtime or prefer to head out on your own? No problem! Your Trip Leaders will make sure to tell you the best days to take time for yourself (if you want it) without feeling like you're missing out. Take spa or pool time, visit a nearby village...feel free to shift gears and make it your day! Plus, the E-Bike ensures it has never been easier for people of all ages and fitness levels to spend some time together. Take a look at the schedule of events to see what each day entails and explore your options!

Where should I fly into?

Answer

Take a look at the Travel section of this webpage for all of our travel recommendations including airlines, hotels, and train routes. It will be easiest to fly into Paris because you will need to take a train to Bordeaux and there are multiple high-speed routes available from Paris), but London is a great option too if you'd like to extend your trip and take your time in different regions.

What if I can't RSVP "yes" by the deadline but find out later that I can come?

Answer

It's possible that we may still have a spot after circling around to our other possible guests. We will keep you posted as to whether availability changes in your favor once the July 31st deadline has passed and other guests have had the opportunity to RSVP (we will give each block of guests the same protected amount of time to RSVP before approaching other guests).

Is my deposit refundable?

Answer

We are asking for a per person deposit so we know that we will have our favorite committed to joining us on this incredible journey. As such, we would hope that if you have chosen to RSVP yes and provided your deposit, you're going! We understand that emergencies can happen. We would do everything possible to try and find a replacement for you, but cannot guarantee this, so deposits will be non-refundable.
