It all began on a warm May evening in 2021, when the Cowtown Fair lit up the Texas Motor Speedway with the glow of carnival lights and the sound of laughter filling the air. We both went to the fair with no idea that our paths were about to cross Lexi with her best friend, Trinity, for a girls’ night out, and Cameron with his friends, Colton and Brayden, for a night of fun and adventure. While waiting in line for the scariest ride at the fair, Lexi nervously confessed to Trinity just how terrified she was. That’s when Cameron, overhearing the conversation, couldn’t help but tease, “It’s not that bad.” That one playful comment sparked a conversation…the kind that instantly felt easy and natural, like we’d known each other forever.
