Save the Dates will be going out the first week of June followed by formal invitations in July to all of our invited guests. While we wish that we could invite everyone we know, we are keeping our guest list small with close friends and family in respect of COVID restrictions. We love and appreciate every one of you!
The wedding will take place at Arbor Crest Wine Cellars in the Spokane Valley. This beautiful venue is located atop a cliff overlooking the city and is very spacious with various areas of the estate to explore.
Semi formal attire is recommended, from cocktail dresses and button-ups to formal gowns and tuxes. The weather should be sunny and in the 70s but fall evenings in Spokane can get chilly. We recommend bringing a jacket, shawl or other coverup to keep warm after dark and will have heating elements available during the reception. Also be aware that some areas of our venue are grassy and the parking lot has gravel, so keep in mind if wearing heels to our event.
If you are single, we have added a plus one to your invitation as a courtesy. Due to the current COVID situation and in trying to keep our guest list exclusive, we respectfully request that if you are comfortable attending our wedding without a plus one to please let us know via RSVP. We appreciate your understanding in us wanting our ceremony to be filled with those we love and are closest to.
Due to having our wedding at a winery and wanting our friends to be able to celebrate with us, we have chosen to respectfully request no children at our wedding.
We will be blocking out rooms at a downtown hotel for our out-of-town family members and bridal party attendees. We will be reaching out to these people in the next few months to make arrangements. We highly recommend staying at the Davenport Grand Hotel, which is a newer hotel in the heart of downtown within walking distance of great restaurants and things to do. Their pricing is very reasonable, they have nice rooms and wonderful customer service. If you end up booking a room at this hotel, please let them know that you are booking as part of Chad White’s wedding room block and it will count towards our reservation minimum as well as provide a discount for you!
We are registered online through Zola. We are also requesting that you make a donation to our honeymoon fund as a gift option - we’d love for you to buy us a drink in Tulum, Mexico!
We will have a full-menu dinner available to our guests during reception. There will be multiple options for dinner and we will have items to accommodate gluten-free, dairy-free and vegan guests in addition to allergen-friendly dessert options. If you have any specific food allergy questions, please feel free to reach out.
While we appreciate that everyone wants their own memories, we request that you put your phones away and avoid any personal phone photographs during the ceremony. We will have two professional photographers taking pictures, and will have their beautiful photos available for anyone who wants copies.
We are aware that everyone has their own comfort level around COVID precautions, and we are choosing to follow state mandates and respect all comfort levels. We are highly encouraging everyone in attendance to get vaccinated, wear a mask, socially distance, avoid shaking hands, wash your hands often, and please do not attend our wedding if you are having any symptoms of sickness. The current Washington state mandate is requiring masks to be worn indoors. Masks are not required outdoors, but they will be required if you enter the tasting room. The wedding party will not be wearing masks during the ceremony, but we encourage guests to mask up during the ceremony and while moving around at the reception for extra safety measures.
Our wedding colors are cream, cinnamon rose, terracotta, rust, and mustard.
