We love your little ones, but we’ve decided to make our wedding an adults-only celebration. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to celebrating together!

What should I wear? What is the attire?

Answer

For the welcome dinner feel free to wear casual attire. It will be held outdoors, so we recommend warm layers and comfortable shoes suitable for walking on grass. For the ceremony, please note that the path to the venue is grassy as well — choose your shoes accordingly! We’d love to see bright, cheerful semi-formal attire to complement the vibrant surroundings. Evenings are cool, so we suggest bringing an extra layer. We’ll also have heaters and blankets at the reception dinner to keep everyone warm and cozy.

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Our ceremony will take place outdoors in the beautiful Aspen Grove at Mountain Springs Lodge, followed by an outdoor reception at the charming Beaver Creek Barn. There will also be shawls and heat lamps provided. Feel free to take your shawl home with you!

May I take photos?

Answer

We kindly request an unplugged ceremony — please keep phones put away so everyone can fully enjoy the moment with us. Our photographer will capture everything, and we’ll be thrilled to share the photos with you afterward!

How should I spend Saturday before the ceremony?

Answer

While we’re busy getting everything ready for the big day, feel free to enjoy a laid-back morning and afternoon! There’s a pool and hot tubs on the property, so definitely bring a swimsuit if you’re up for a dip. If you’d rather explore, the area’s full of gorgeous trails — just pack comfy shoes and something you don’t mind hiking in. Check out our "Things to Do" section for recommendations!

How should I plan for meals outside the catered events?

Answer

If you're staying on-site, the lodges come with fully equipped kitchens — so feel free to bring groceries if you’d prefer to cook during your stay. There’s a small local market for essentials like bread, milk, eggs, snacks, beer, and soda. Just down the road, the Old Mill Café is a cozy spot for breakfast or lunch if you’re looking to dine out nearby. For a wider selection, additional grocery and restaurant options are available in Leavenworth, WA. Oktoberfest weekend traffic can be quite busy, so allow extra travel time.
