Monkey Sanctuaries provide a safe haven for diverse species of wildlife, whether endemic, native, or exotic. Many of these animals have been affected by human activities or natural phenomena that have severely impacted their environment. In most cases, these circumstances make it impossible for them to return to the wild, meaning they must remain under human care for the rest of their lives.
Yal-Ku is a beautiful lagoon located in Akumal Norte that is just walking distance from the venue. It is a unique snorkeling experience different than snorkeling off the beach.
The greater Cancun area is home to many amazing amusement parks. We have all enjoyed a number of them over the years. Whether a museum is more your speed (Xenses) or you love the thrill of a zipline (Xplore) we suggest making one of your days devoted to one of these great theme parks!
One of the last cities inhabited by the Maya people, Tulum was once an important trading hub, generating enormous wealth exporting jade and obsidian. Now, it's a fascinating city-museum, with well-preserved temples & stunning coastal views.
See below for our favorite local cuisine!
Lol-Ha is a great restaurant right on the main beach - Great for a mid-day Pina Colada or a delicious casual dinner on the sand.
Our friend Jamie's Bar. Greatest theme! Has a swimming pool, tree houses, swings, and hammocks. Pro-Tip: Wednesday night is Karaoke night! This is also the location of Friday nights rehearsal dinner.
An Italian fine-dining experience. Whether with friends, family, or a romantic candle-lit dinner, this is the best Italian food outside of Italy.
Turtle Bay Cafe is a great stop for breakfast, a coffee, smoothie, sweet treat, or anything of the sorts! We love this place- and they are making our wedding cake!
