We met the way many great love stories begin - during residency, somewhere between 24 hours shifts, shared patients, intern happy hours and learning how to care for others while still figuring out our own lives. What started as co-interns became a friendship, and then - thanks to a nudge (okay, forceful push) from Monica - turned into wanting to spend our life together. Along the way, Guy embraced life in a loud Greek family and Alex learned the finer points of water polo, and why tea is apparently appropriate at any hour. In 2024, we couples-matched to fellowships at CHOP, and in 2025 we bought our first home in Philly - apparently deciding to commit to each other and a 30-year mortgage at the same time. We are choosing to celebrate our marriage in the way that feels right for us.
