Can you believe it? Alex and Evy are finally getting married!

It all started at El Rodeo, what was supposed to be a casual dinner quickly turned into a fateful meeting when he giggle-snorted at a terrible joke from our mutual friend (let’s be real, it wasn’t that funny). As much as I tried to stay mad, I couldn’t help but laugh later at how ridiculous he was. And just like that, our paths crossed in the most unexpected way. Fast forward to 2018, when we decided to give this whole dating thing a shot while navigating our graduate programs, trying to figure out life one deadline at a time. It wasn’t always smooth sailing, but we made it work—and somehow, we ended up with not just degrees, but an even deeper connection. Our shared love for cars, especially our Mazda Miatas, definitely helped fuel the fire—nothing like revving the engines together to make you feel like you’re cruising through life, side by side. Plus, we both came into the relationship with our loyal pups, which made everything feel even more complete. We bonded over car shows, long drives, and endless conversations about everything from mountain trails to our favorite dog-friendly spots. And speaking of mountains—those became the backdrop to the start of our life together. We found a home in the mountains, where we could breathe easy, take in the views, and live life at our own pace. Now, here we are, ready to celebrate this next chapter with all of you. We can’t wait to see what the future holds—and, of course, share a few more bad jokes along the way.
