The Wedding Website of Alexandra Cobourn and Eric Wier
We are so excited to celebrate with you on the Amalfi Coast! Our wedding will take place in Amalfi, Italy at Villa Vettica, perched above the sea with breathtaking views of the coastline. Amalfi is a charming, walkable town, but be prepared for plenty of steps, winding paths, and hills - comfortable shoes are a must. Ride-share services like Uber/Lyft are not available, but taxis, ferries, and private car services are readily accessible and make getting around easy. There are multiple international airports that service the region, with Naples being the most common gateway, followed by Rome, as well as a smaller regional option. Amalfi and the surrounding towns offer a wide range of beautiful accommodations, from boutique hotels to seaside villas. If you have any questions or need help planning your travel, please don’t hesitate to reach out - we can’t wait to experience this unforgettable place with you!

Flight

Naples International Airport (NAP)

Naples International Airport is the most convenient airport for traveling to Amalfi and is approximately 1.5–2 hours by car from Villa Vettica, depending on traffic. We are currently working on coordinating private transportation from the airport and will share more details as plans are finalized. If you plan to fly into Naples, please let us know your flight arrival time, as this will help us with scheduling transfers.

Flight

Rome Fiumicino "Leonardo da Vinci" Airport (FCO)

Rome Fiumicino Airport is another option for traveling to the Amalfi Coast, though it is farther than Naples and requires additional travel time. From Rome, guests can take a high-speed train to Naples (approximately 1 hour and 10 minutes) and then continue on to Amalfi by private car or ferry. Alternatively, you may choose to arrange a direct car service from the Rome airport straight to your hotel along the coast.

Flight

Salerno Costa d’Amalfi Airport (QSR)

Salerno Costa d’Amalfi Airport is a smaller regional airport and a convenient option for reaching the Amalfi Coast when available. From Salerno, Amalfi is approximately 1–1.5 hours away by car, and guests can also continue their journey via ferry along the coast, depending on schedules. Flight options may be more limited than Naples or Rome, but it can be a great alternative for those able to route through it.
