One of Oregon's most famous waterfall attraction. We will be 30 minutes away from Multnomah Falls.
Portland Japanese Garden
One of the most beautiful places, with so much greenery and a pond of coy fish.
Tamanawas Falls at Mt. Hood
Since we will be so close to Mt. Hood Mountain, here is a popular trail to one of the top waterfalls in the area, Tamanawas Falls. It is roughly a 4 mile hike there and back.
Cannon Beach
Cannon Beach has a beautiful, unique rock formation and is known as the beach used in the movie, The Goonies. It is a great experience to see the Pacific Ocean as well! (1.5 hours from Portland)
Multnomah Whiskey Library
This place boasts the largest and best selection of whiskey in Portland. Bartenders mix drinks and measure spirits table-side, in a beautiful space filled with exposed brick, tufted leather furniture, chandeliers, fireplaces, and walls lined floor-to-ceiling with spirits.
Marchesi Vineyards & Winery
This is a homey winery that serves great wine with a view of the vineyard. You may also be greeted by the winery's dog and cat.
pFriem Family Brewers
One of the best breweries in the area, great beer, great food. Make sure to call in advance, there is usually a wait!

Witch's Castle
These old stone ruins in the Oregon wilderness were once bathrooms and are steeped in legends of murder. An easy half-mile hike from the Upper Macleay Parking lot near the Portland Audubon Society
Shanghai Tunnels
The seamy, underground secrets of Portland's criminal past. Attached is a link that tells you the creepy history to these tunnels, and you can see why it is considered haunted.
The Freakybuttrue Peculiarium
This place is for the quirky type who like the weird, creepy and gross stuff. $5 admission but free in costume or with a cute, well-behaved dog, cat, iguana, Gila monster, parakeet, boa constrictor, or whatever. (They also have a famous Bug Sundae)
The Belmont Goats
A herd of 14 goats & 1 hen invites you to the western edge of the University Park neighborhood in North Portland. Check hours online and also to get to know the goats a little bit better!
Gorge Paddling Center
Take a kayak down the beautiful Gorge River, which divides Oregon from Washington. It cost $20 for first hour and $10 for any additional hour.
