How We Met
June 2014
Zack and Alex met in June of 2014 through the Virginia Beach Leadership Workshop program. They worked very closely together but it was not until the summer of 2015 that Zack gained the confidence to ask Alex out on a date. Since then, they have traveled around the country, adopted Wilson from the local animal shelter, and created many memories within the past three years.
The Proposal
April 2019
Zack and Alex took a trip to the west coast and made a stop in Anaheim to visit the most magical place on earth, Disneyland! Zack got down on one knee, shaky hands and all! Alex cried instantly, barely whispering yes (she was practically hyper ventilating). And the rest is history!
