Lake Willoughby
One of the deepest and clearest lakes in New England is just down the road from our Venue! Explore the public beach or the nude beach! Take out some kayaks or paddle boards, explore some of the hikes in the Willoughby state forest, enjoy a creemee lakeside. Vermonters from all over love coming to Lake Willoughby for its beauty and peacefulness.
Church Street Marketplace
Church street is a staple when visiting downtown Burlington! The street itself is picturesque and filled with fun stores, restaurants, bars and boutiques. A moderate difficulty 4 mile hike on lake Willoughby that has stunning views of the lake and the surrounding mountains
Hill Farmstead Brewery
Considered some of the world's best beer, this brewery is the maker of Alex's favorite beer "The Edward"
The Parker Pie Company
Voted Best Pizza in Vermont by Food Network Parker Pie was a summer staple for Lili's family. Try Lili and Alex's favorite pizza "The Green Mountain Special" that sports apples and maple syrup as toppings!
Bread & Puppet Theatre
If you have ever been inside Lili and Alex's apartment you might find that some of the posters at this museum seem familiar. That's because Lili loves the Bread and Puppet. A local theater with thought provoking shows and a museum of some of their best puppets all made by hand.
Shadow Lake
The lake that both Lili and Alex grew up going to and a beautiful place that they hold dear to their hearts. Great for a dip, the rope swing, or just some relaxing time by the water.
Stowe
One of Vermont's best known vacations towns. Home to Stowe Mountain Resort this quaint mountain town boasts a ton of hikes, some of Vermont's favorite breweries (the alchemist, idyle time), several amazing restaurants, and the Stowe Bike Path. If you are brave take a drive through the notch for some beautiful, windy road scenery.
