Alexandra and my first trip to NYC in winter 2015. Our first trip together was filled with a Broadway show and dinner out on the town!

Alex's parents got engaged at St. Pat's Cathedral, and unbeknownst to us, we said a prayer in the very pew where her dad got down on one knee!

Our first picture together! On Halloween, UD's Chipotle was giving out free burritos for, ahem, adventurous costumes...

With Chelsea, the first woman Tyler ever loved (besides his Mumma, of course)

Tyler indulging one of Alex's (probably terrible) jokes. Rosie, on the other hand, is not amused.

Our first month of long distance, Tyler was in LA and Alex was in London. He came to see her capstone performance at RADA, and our European backpacking trip began!

Dancing in the rain down the streets of Lourdes, France.

Get you a man who makes you weak in the Pyra-knees ;)

We're so blessed to have experienced so many incredible things together, like Gaudi's Sagrada Familia in Barcelona, Spain.

On our first anniversary, Alex surprised Tyler by flying 3,000 miles and showing up on his doorstep. This is the picture we sent our families to let them know we were back together!

Alexandra and I enjoy a stiff drink at the bar (2018). Please enjoy our His and Her cocktails at our reception!

Long distance has perks (like getting to go to Disneyland multiple times a year together)!

We got through 5 years of long distance with the help of plenty of care packages!

Traveling is one of our passions. Here, we journeyed with Alexandra's family to Spain in 2016.

We've explored so many national parks together!

Glamping under the stars on a rock climbing trip to Joshua Tree National Park.

Still waiting to figure out what you get for waking up in Vegas...

Alexandra and I LOVE Disney! Her family took us to Epcot in Disneyworld to celebrate New Years Eve in 2018.

More Disney shenanigans!

After a Heiss & Schanche family reunion on Oahu, Tyler and Alex escaped to Kauai where they rented a sleeper van painted like the Scooby Doo Mystery Machine. This is a typical breakfast with a view!

Costa Rica is a dream destination. Alexandra and I found this tree in the jungle that is several hundred years old.

Tyler braved his fear of heights so we could go ziplining through the rainforest of Costa Rica!

Yosemite quickly became Alex's favorite place in California. Wherever we can throw snowballs one minute and take a dip in a lake of mountain water the next... *French chef's kiss*

At our core, family is one of our most important shared values. Here, my family visited Alexandra and me in Laguna Beach in 2018.

We loved our time in Southern California. Here, we're visiting one of our favorite local spots in Newport Beach, Roger's Gardens, sometime near Valentine's Day 2019.

Tyler took Alex to Longwood Gardens in PA almost every year before he proposed to indulge her Christmas obsession.

Tyler left Alex in Longwood to be found by our family, who he scattered around the grounds. She found him by following clues he left, which were all riddles about our relationship (I know, right?!?).

While the family waited for Alex to find them, Tyler walked through the massive property to make sure they were in position, hydrated, fed, and warm (it was sixteen degrees outside!).

Engagement - achieved !

A candid picture from the meal we had with our families right after Tyler proposed. We couldn't stop giggling :)

Our family has been showering us with affection and attention ever since :)

Hello New York, ta ta LA!

Tyler bought Alex "bride" and "groom" pjs... sometimes we switch who wears which just for fun ;)

Planning a wedding long distance hasn't been the most conventional experience, but we get by with a little help from technology.

We can't wait to dance the night away with all of you!

This is the moment Alex and Mrs. Heiss watched Tyler's advisors shake him by the hand and call him "Doctor" for the very first time.

Tyler did it! (And CJ snuck a sticker on my back...)

Sharing a moment at one of our typical picnic spots on the UCI campus.

After Tyler's thesis defense, we spent Thanksgiving day with the Palting family at Disneyland. Did we mention we love Disney?
