Alex and Tyler's story began in March of 2015. They both went to a friend's birthday party and crossed paths for the first time. Tyler still remembers the exact outfit she was wearing... a red tank top with blue jeans and brown boots (very stylish). They didn't say anything to each other, but it was very evident they made a good first impression on each other. A week later, Tyler had some friends over and Alex went with a girlfriend. Alex knew Tyler would be there (obviously), so she put on her best outfit and makeup. They instantly hit it off over a couple of drinks and some good music. That night, Tyler asked her to go to the beach with him the next day and they became inseparable! Two years later, they moved into an apartment together while Alex was finishing school and Tyler was starting his career at UPS. They were starting to get very serious. Their parents finally met, and instantly became good friends that enjoyed spending time together. They love how their families love each other! They eventually bought a cute townhome after living together for a couple years. Alex became a teacher and Tyler continued his hard work at UPS. Six years later, the two lovebirds are planning a wedding and continuing the beautiful life they share!

On November 1, 2020, Tyler took her out for a late birthday dinner at one of their favorite restaurants, Hillstone. Tyler was so nervous but didn't let it show. Little did Alex know, this day would forever change her life! As soon as they got to the restaurant, he ordered her a glass of her favorite wine and ordered himself a much needed beer then took her to the dock for a "picture." As they were taking a picture, Alex noticed a boat coming towards them but didn't think much of it. As the boat got closer to them, Alex noticed both of their families on it holding a huge sign that read, "Will You Marry Me?" Tyler then got on one knee and asked her to be his forever. It was the easiest "Yes!" she has ever said.
