Prospect Park
Prospect Park has become our second home since the arrival of Matilda into our lives last January. You can even borrow her for a walk if you want the complete, authentic "Tessa and Alex" experience. It's a wonderful place for wandering around or just lounging and people watching. Beware the serious cyclists on the park's outer loop, however!

This is hands down our favorite bar in New York and where we spend many a local evening enjoying their robust beer list.

The most popular Shankowitz brunch option in Windsor Terrace, Le Paddock also offers a dollar oyster special on Thursday nights that's perfect if you're looking to host an eat-off.
