September marks Lake Tahoe's final warm days of the year, with daily high temperatures expected at 68°F. The evenings and mornings may reach close to freezing temperatures so pack layers and continue checking the weather for updates!
We recommend packing layers as the California sun can be quite warm in the day but the nights can get cold. We also recommend packing a bathing suit for the jacuzzi and heated pool for the day-after party.
Totally optional, but not necessary! If you are flying in, you can take a shuttle from Reno to South Lake Tahoe. All events will be held in South Lake Tahoe, at the Edgewood Hotel & Station House Inn. (See Travel page for more information on the shuttle service)
There will not be transportation provided to and from the ceremony, we recommend taking an Uber/Lyft to Edgewood.
There is complimentary valet at Edgewood but no parking.
We have a pre-determined guest list, and our wedding is RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation. Please reach out to us if you have any questions.
Absolutely! We are providing a kid's buffet during cocktail hour as we are requesting an adults-only formal reception beginning at 7:00 pm. We will have dancing from 5:30-6:30 pm and will provide a short break before dinner begins for parents to take their kids home. We will be hosting a "Day After" Party on Saturday afternoon. This is optional for all guests, but we would love for you to join if you are staying through the weekend.
We love to dress up! Black Tie for our wedding means Formal Evening Wear. Men can wear suits with a tie. Women can wear either a long gown or a dressy cocktail dress.
